Cough Medicine with DXM- Need Help

I appreciate the concern and nice words, but I'm an adult that is fully aware of what using drugs does to you. Not looking for therapy, just looking for a little advice before using.

Here's some advice - don't drink a bottle of cough syrup. You are, as you say, an adult. What reason do you have to be interested in cough syrup. You'll likely puke, maybe get a headache, and endure an all around disgusting process for a potentially terrible or life altering - not in a good way - trip? Of all the ways...

I believe that the people who abuse dextromethorphan get cough syrup that does not have other cold products in it. High doses of the other cold products may have unpleasant or dangerous effects.

Note that dextromethorphan has PCP-like effects. People who use this family of drugs tend to go on violent crime sprees and get shot to death by police officers.

It is unlikely that people on this website have experience with this caliber of drug abuse. If they do, they certainly don't publicize it. Unless someone privately messages you in secret, it is safe to assume that no one here has such experience.

The caliber of drug use you speak of is for middle and high schoolers who want over the counter drugs. Kids use cough syrup out of convenience. However, it is not meant to be chugged. I have seen first hand what happens when a person drinks cough syrup and it's gross. If that's not a deterrent, then maybe the fact that most people dislike the effect of cough syrup will be.

No, don't consume this. If you want to experience a DXM high you need to find a brand where the only active ingredient is DXM. I think Robitussin Adult Long Acting Cough is one of these brands but you'd need to read the label. An internet search will show you the process of extracting DXM from syrup so that you can obtain the pure crystalline substance.
