when i booted up my pc a prgram called Remote administrator was on my cp tray and it says it is registered to some guy who i have never hurd of how do i get rid of it??
If it is Famatech's very popular Remote Administrator program, you should be able to remove it using Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs. While it's a tool primarily used for remote tech support and so forth, it would certainly be possible to use it to monitor your system, access your data, etc., as it facilitates full remote control of PCs.
here is the website of the program and no its not in add remove
http://www.radmin.com
That is the program I referred to.
If there's no "Remote Administrator" entry in the Add or Remove Programs list, it means that RAdmin was installed using a manual process.
If you can locate a file named "r_server.exe" (it's usually located under C:\Program Files\Radmin) on your computer I can direct you to manual removal instructions.
ok i cnt find the file "r_server.exe" and the program is not in program files
this thing is still on my comp and i cnt get it off someone hlp
