I need help for my a-level in product design on how guitar capos are made and i can't find it anywhere, can someone help me find out how each piece is made: the frame itself, what manufacturing process and the spring, what one is it? I think torsion? but not sure? If anyone could help i would be most grateful!

@roger,
Hey, I just found one. Not qualified to review it, but maybe it's a good starting point.

@roger,
I made my own out of a thin stainless bar and a garter. It always got comment. I didnt look fancy but worked just as well.
