I thought of a really old one, first performed by Al Jolson in 1918,"Rock-A-Bye Your Baby With a Dixie Melody", also performed by Judy Garland and Sammy Davis Jr. and a forgettable version by Jerry Lewis who is a big jerk.

IM having a hard time finding the youtube designator, but my system just upgraded (hahahahaha) so it might take a while. If you plug in Judy Garland on Youtube you can find a terrific version.

Al Jolson didn't mind getting really emotional in his music.
