Though he was poor, he was generous.
I have to use 'in spite of ' to remove the subordinate clause of the above sentence.
A. In spite of his poverty, he was generous.
B. In spite of his being poor, he was generous.
C. In spite of him being poor, he was generous.
D. In spite of being poor, he was generous.
I think A, B and C are correct. Am I right?

All are grammatically correct, and all mean the same as your sentence to be transformed. However A and D are less awkward than B and C.
