Hi, What is the difference between these 2 forms?
be promoted x get promoted

There is an example:
It's very unlikely that we will promote Barbara this month.
chance
There is very little...............................................this month

The correct answer: chance of Barbara being promoted

Can the right answer be "chance of Barbara getting promoted" ?

Getting is conversational/relaxed/informal, not likely to be the correct choice in an educational test.
