The chief coordinator was always present to chant together and to give/ gave his invaluable encouragement. Everyone was committed to the event in spite of their heavy personal schedules and “gave their all” for the event.

Which verb in bold should I use? Thanks.

to give is the right choice because it agrees with the other thing he was doing, which was to chant.
