warts and getting rid of them

Hello.

I have grown a pair of warts on the thumb. I'm not sure how. My father thinks I got the virus at the gym. I've had them for a long time now because my dad refuses to let me freeze them at my doctor's recommendation. I've tried natural remendies, both garlic and apple cider vinegar and they do work. The problem is they're uncomfortable and take forever to kill the infection. I spent a week or two keeping a cut garlic clove pressed to the warts overnight. After a long time, they hardened and I couldn't resist peeling them off. A week or so later, they began growing back. I've been doing the same thing maybe four times since that first time and the result is the same - they grow back. The Internet mostly says I have to let them fall off on their own but I've used these treatments for long periods of time and they have never approached a point where they seem ready to fall off. Instead, my finger becomes extremely dry and shriveled.

I wondered if anyone here has successfully ridden themselves of warts using a natural method. I do not want to go behind my father's back when he has expressly told me not to.

Thank you all.

As an incompetent speedreader I read that as 'wars'. By coincidence I've worked out a plan for stopping all future conflict, crime, etc, forever
