A jar of this exploded in the trash can and i was wondering how?
Ingredients:Mandarin Oranges, Water, Sugar, Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid (To Preservative Color), Cellulose, Natural Flavor. Pasteurized.

• how old was it?
• did it freeze before it exploded?

It had 1 month and 22 days for expiration and it was in the refrigerator

Maybe the "natural flavor" was TNT? Very Happy

Seriously, apparently fruit juice and syrup containers can explode, as this video illustrates. Fermentaion, perhaps?
