I often read or heard 'typo' when it relates to a typing error.

I wonder whether 'typo' means 'typing error'.

Thanks.

A typo is a typographical error (a small mistake in a text made when it was typed or printed). It could be caused by erroneous typing on a keyboard, or introduced during a printing process.
