There's thousands of old, rocking, rap, all new, band songs. When we hear the music and lyrics of the song, it can draw a fantastic feelling in our mind or can inspire us to EXPANDABLE. Let's talk about your favourite song(s).

All in how much you give, Stephanie Mills. Wonderful song, and feels like a 90's song. Maybe the best definition of soul searching, not in terms of lyrics, but just sense of tone and sound.

I enjoy qualities in music which are independent of lyrics; I respond primarily to melody, harmony, and rhythm and really prefer instrumental music. Many times the lyrics in pop music aren't even comprehensible and we just hear sounds which we assume are syllables but can't really distinguish words. Other times I find the lyrics amateurish, ungrammatical, or otherwise objectionable. As Voltaire said, "Anything too stupid to be said is sung". So I tend to appreciate "songs" as tunes. Many of my favorite tunes are from brief passages in longer symphonic or chamber works, like the counterpoint in the fourth movement of Mozart's Symphony #41. Another source of memorable tunes that I find running through my head are licks from soloists playing jazz or blues. It's hard to say which song or tune I like the most – it depends on how I'm feeling at the time.
