A and B are on the phone.

A: Can you bring your sister to my birthday party?
B: Sure. I'll bring / take him to your party.

Should B use take or bring ? And please explain why.

Thanks.

@tanguatlay,
I think B should use "take"
For A, he uses "bring", "bring":to take something or somebody to the place where you are now. So , A←B
For B, “take”:if a person take somebody somewhere , he transport or lead someone there. So, B→A
That's my point of view.

To bring is to move something or someone towards a destination. To take is to move something or someone away from a starting point. A will say to someone else, or to himself: "I will take my sister to B's party", but he will say to B: "I will bring my sister to your party".

Note: since B's sister is female, we use 'her' when speaking or writing about her.

@contrex,
Thanks, contrex.

It's a typo. Should be "her".
