It looks like the rain is more widespread this week. It rains, is raining, has rained in almost every part of the province.

Which verbs are the correct ones?

"Is raining" if it is raining now in almost every part of the province, otherwise "has rained".

@tanguatlay,
'It rains,' eg, if it's still raining most everywhere but some of the provincial folk in a few drier locs are not quite sure what's happening
