Madam Venny Oliver and her husband, Mr Liong Kuo Hwa, both 37, were in their Toyota Vios when the Mercedes, which was travelling against the flow of traffic, hit their car.
Is the comma after "Mercedes" needed?

Oh yes Tang absolutely. One of those where meaning is affected! Without the comma it's suggested that certain other Mercedes might have been
with the flow.

I think the clause identifies which Mercedes, hence no comma. Am I on the wrong track?
