I'm turning 13 in 3 months, and I really want a Twitter. I already have an Instagram, but my mom was... Hesitant. I know there's no age limit for Twitter, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to ask my mom. I feel like she would just say no, but I'm not sure if she has the authority (legally, duh) to keep me from making one if I want to.

I know. 😞 But that's not what I meant, she doesn't trust me not to look at stuff I shouldn't.

So build her trust like a mature person would.

It's not because I've looked at bad stuff in the past, she's just way to overprotective, so building her trust wouldn't help.
