That's an understandable sentiment. #hugs

@tsarstepan,
Where is the Hague Court of Human Rights when you need them? Is there a statute of limitations for Crimes against cinemanity?

@tsarstepan,
I think programmes about bad media are far worse than anything they’re actually criticising.

There was a programme on the other night called ‘When Christmas Goes Wrong,’ with a load of clips from previous Christmas disasters. There were plenty of z list celebrities half of whom I’d never heard of. The format was they’d show a clip then some ‘celebrity’ would tell you what you'd just seen, then another celeb and another.

They took apart ‘Santa Claus Conquers the Martians’ but only succeeded in making me feel quite fond of it, which I didn’t think was possible. Then they ripped the piss out of a charming Russian cartoon about a snowman because the snowman was called Spunky.

@tsarstepan,
Christian Evangelicals definitely make a lot of the worst Christmas movies.

@tsarstepan,
A new documentary examines the 'Star Wars Holiday Special' and asks: Why?
WHY?! Because it's objectively terrible.
Quote:
There might be even more lore about the Star Wars Holiday Special than about the Star Wars universe itself. Aired once in November 1978 on CBS and then locked away beyond the reach of legitimate viewing, it sends Chewbacca back to his home planet to visit his family: his wife, Malla; his father, Itchy; and his son, Lumpy. (Yes. Lumpy.)

The special had guest stars like Bea Arthur and Harvey Korman and original cast members from the movie, including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford. It was a true variety show, complete with singing and dancing. And skits!
