Hi English teachers,
may I ask if there is any difference between take and send?For example my brother's son studies at primary school.
I am going to send you to school at 12pm.
I am going to take you to school at 12pm.
Are both sentences acceptable?

@Loh Jane,
Both are acceptable but have slightly different meanings.

If you send him to school, you aren't involved in transport.
If you take him, then you are transporting him.

Same difference if it might be anything, like a letter or a package or a gift, etc.

@Loh Jane,
You should mix it up a little. Tell him you're going to mosey his little knickers on down to school.

@Skeleton ,
I seriously wish you would spread your confusion somewhere besides threads by language students.

I do expect your response to be the same as to Contrex. <shrugs>
