Heres a beautiful example of a thrust fault in last weeks earthquake in New Zealand. The film shows the sharp line here the ocean side crust has been pushed up wrt to the land side block.

thrust faults , especially as clearly sharply defined are rarely caught on the "hoof".

Ill go with amazing. Its more comparative v other fault planes Ive seen.

(even though "amazing" is a kind of synonym for phenomenal)
