NEW E-Mail ID System Being Implimented

Evidently there will soon be a way to know if the e-mail you are receiving is actually from the person or company shown as the sender. Other implications involved for marketers, individuals and those wonderful "phishers."

Looks like a good thing, but I can think of several drawbacks. I tend to be leary of signing up for someone to be able to identify me. This may be unavoidable, though.

Sounds kind of ok by me - I'm really tired of spammers - we got the telephone guys under control now we neew the email guys under control.
I have one email @ Y that gets over 90 emails a day in the bulk email -
I don't deal with them now I just click the empty and move on, but those spammers do waste net resources.
