I am in secondary school and I fancy a girl on my bus. I am on a private bus and have seen her for around 4 years. I am quite shy and I haven't really talked to her much. I normally sit by myself. I have her on Facebook. Most of the time she is with her (girl) friends so I feel a bit afraid of just going up to her and asking to be her friend. She hasn't talked to me much though. What should I do?
Thanks.
@Danielg1,
Say hi to her every day when you see her.
Conversation will eventually come naturally from that.
@ehBeth,
As I mentioned earlier I am quite shy and she is always around her friends. I have a minority of friends also which makes it harder. How should I get around this problem?
Thanks.
@Danielg1,
Say hi to her every day when you see her.

If you can't manage saying hi, there's not much anyone can do to help you.
@ehBeth,
How do I make it seem casual as she gets out of her car when the bus arrives so I only get an opportunity to talk to her when we are getting on?
@Danielg1,
Just say hi when you see her - when she passes you, when you pass her - if you see her in a hallway.
No conversation now.
Say hi.
@ehBeth,
I will try saying hi as she passes me to get on the bus. I go to an all boys school so she is only on for the bus journey. THIS makes it harder as I don't see her for the rest of the day.
@Danielg1,
So what?
And seriously, if you were going to resist even the most mild and easiest types of advice, why did you bother asking?
Say hi or wonder forever. Your choice.
