Hey everyone,
There is a song in Charlies Angels (the first one) with some lyrics like this:
"This is the sound of my soul, THIS IS THE SOUND of my soul, why am I finding it hard to write the next line............."
There is also a song that is run over the credits of one "The Simpsons" episode, with some lyrics like this:
"Baby I'm a man, baby Im the only boy who could ever need you.."
So please, please reply if you might or do know the names of these songs, so about such little lyric information,
cheers,
Katiecoos
The second one is 'Maybe I'm Amazed', by Paul McCartney.
Baby I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time
Maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you
Baby I'm amazed at the the way you pulled me out of time
Hung me on a line
Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you
Baby I'm a man and maybe I'm a lonely man
Who's in the middle of something
That he dosen't really understand
Babe I'm a man and maybe you're the only woman
Who could ever help me
Baby won't you help to me understand
(lead solo)
Baby I'm a man and maybe I'm a lonely man
Who's in the middle of something
That he dosen't really understand
Babe I'm a man and maybe you're the only woman
Who could ever help me
Baby won't you help me understand
Baby I'm amazed at the way you're with me all the time
Maybe I'm afraid of the way I leave you
Baby I'm amazed at the way you help me sing my song
You right me when I'm wrong
Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you
The first is I think by Spandau Ballet
So true funny how it seems
always in time, but never in line for dreams.
Head over heels when toe to toe.
This is the sound of my soul,
this is the sound
I bought a ticket to the world,
but now I've come back again
Why do I find it hard to write the next line?
Oh I want the truth to be said
Huh huh huh hu-uh huh
I know this much is true
Huh huh huh hu-uh huh
I know this much is true
With a thrill in my head and a pill on my tongue
dissolve the nerves that have just begun
Listening to Marvin (all night long)
This is the sound of my soul,
this is the sound
Always slipping from my hands,
Sets a time of its own
Take your seaside arms and write the next line
Oh I want the truth to be known
Huh huh huh hu-uh huh
I know this much is true
Huh huh huh hu-uh huh
I know this much is true
I bought a ticket to the world,
but now I've come back again
Why do I find it hard to write the next line?
Oh I want the truth to be said
Huh huh huh hu-uh huh
I know this much is true
Huh huh huh hu-uh huh
I know this much is true
This much is true
I know, I know, I know this much is true
Right song, wrong title, sorry - the Spandau Ballet song is called "True".
uhhh, i don't think carditel thought "i think" was the song's title...
true.
Thank you so very much
I'm extremely greatful,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Katiecoos
Oops, my apologies, carditel.
Would you two get on the same page?
true story: "true" was spoze to be our wedding song, but the stupid DJ couldn't get it
so we settled for "your song" by elton john.
he was like "i don't have it, so you'll have to choose a song from what i do have."
Hi again everyone,
I was wondering, there was another song I heard, and it had some lyrics:
The sky is as blue as you I think it's by Diana Krall or something! Anyway, sorry for such little lyric information, hope you can help,
Thanks,
Katiecoos
P.S:
Region Philbis, that's sad about the wedding song business, I hate it when the D.J. doesn't have the one song you want! But the song you chose instead is still great
that's true Katiecoos, but we hated that we hadda settle for something else...
