I've been a bit stressed lately with ex ass issues, but over all I'm ok and can't complain.
How are you guys holding up over there? I was so worried as I was up all night that night watching the storm on CNN and I was so relieved to see that everyone is ok.
I'm not feeling myself at all actually, so I thought maybe just casual talking and perhaps laughing would cheer me up. I've just got too much on my plate right now, and am very overwhelmed. I just moved to a new place, i started a new job, i'm taking night classes, and my living situation kind of sucks at the moment. I didn't start this thread to rant or feel sorry for myself, or get you guys to feel sorry for me, just wanted some conversation...hehe
Since I stopped in, I'll say "Hey." Hey, standup.
The title of this thread reminded me of one of my favourite songs by The Stone Roses, a UK indy-rock group who have sadly split up. The lyrics:
I don't have to sell my soul
He's already in me
I don't need to sell my soul
He's already in me
I wanna be adored
I wanna be adored
I don't have to sell my soul
He's already in me
I don't need to sell my soul
He's already in me
I wanna be adored
I wanna be adored
Adored
I wanna be adored
You adore me
You adore me
You adore me
I wanna
I wanna
I wanna be adored
Wanna
I wanna
I wanna be adored
I wanna
I wanna
I wanna be adored
I wanna
I wanna
I gotta be adored
I wanna be adored
Hi swimpy!
Sounds like an interesting song grand duke, i'll have to check it out!
If you're in the mood for an album, I'd recommend their first one, which is self-titled. They waited 5 years to release the second one "The Second Coming", which is okay but patchy, then split a few years later. I can't think of anyone current to compare them to, as the UK indy scene of around 89-94 had a fairly unique sound.
Actually, after a few seconds thought, "early-era REM with English accents" is the closest I can come, but even that is not really right.
... have a new pc.
Wait.. is this topic about wishes ?
Too much, yet nothing at all!! And yourself?
Finished off the Chinese from last night...getting ready to go to my gig....
Do you need a singer/song writer, guitar, or clarinet player?....lol
