i have a VFD that will only shut the pump down to 4%(4hz) when controlled from the control room. when i go to the VFD itself and push the stop button it will finish shutting down all the way. what could be causing this problem?

Variable Frequency Drive used to control speed of AC motor. Not all of them can run down to zero RPM.

i found the issue it was still giving the vfd the run command when we tried to stop it so its a plc/sequencing issue

@dalehileman,
yes im sure i got on the phone with a technician from the manufacturer and we ran through the steps together and the code that its throwing is 0010HEX which means its still receiving a start signal.

@BrettB,
Interesting Brett you should so report as we've been experiencing troubles with our internet interplay, my BH on the 'fone with mfr for what seems like hours now

Mine works now but hers doesn't, some sort of interruption 'tween. Meantime I've suggested she try shutting power off then back on; you might try that too
