@tsarstepan,
Do it bigly, my friend, do it bigly.
@tsarstepan,
I thought you meant the gal on the right in this example:
And that's a bit of common ground I never thought I'd have with the orange one.
@tsarstepan,
"Bad Hombres" is self-explanatory and needs no elaboration. You know what it means and I know what it means. Try "thinking" just a little.

The last time I came across, in English, the word 'hombre' meaning 'man' was in the pulpy Western novels my uncle here in England used to pass on to me as a boy in the 1950s.
It was covers like this that made me want to be a cowboy...
@contrex,
Spicy Western Stories is mentioned in Grapes of Wrath - the ads in the back. Just send in the coupon and right away you're a radio expert.

So cute.... BTW, at what age did you get your funny bone surgically removed? Or were you born without one?
PS: Why the hell do you feel the need to write your goofy-ash username at the bottom of your post as if it was a legitimate form of forum signature when the a2k forum already has a place to write out ones
forum signature?
Love your new avatar, Tsar.
Personally, I'm keen on a certain ombra - ombra della sera, a wraith like etruscan sculpture in the Guarnaci museum in Volterra. Quite beautiful in person. It means shadow of the evening..
It's on google images, but the mac is revolting more than usual.. so no pic from me.
@contrex,
I love the horse looking on in an encouraging way.
@tsarstepan,
Thanks tsar, I thought I was the only one.
I think candlestick and punkey are the same person.
@chai2,
I think Candlestick is Romeo Fabulini. He's already used one sock puppet and the idiom is similar.
@contrex,
For me it was Graham Greene's
The power And The Glory.
Quote:"There's no room. I can't see. Who are these people?" Outside among the hammocks the sergeant began to laugh. "Hombre," he said,"hombre, have you never been in jail before?"
@Candlelight8,
Thinking... On a2K? No it's filled mostly with empty-headed liberals who react before they think, if they think it all. Critical thinking and leftist is just an oxymoron.
@contrex,
That's an spanish word and means man
I have been reading various news outlets which say that taco trucks and Mexican diners up and down the US have been offering "Bad Hombre" titled dishes, in some cases selling out of them.
@contrex,
I guess my town isn't big enough to support a taco truck. Before I retired we still had door to (business) door burrito ladies.
