What do you think? Was Jesus was the first to approve capitalism?
You do agree that all churches support capitalism don't you?

Im not so sure. He did get mad at jews selling religious trinkets outside the temple.

He seemed more socialist. Treat men and women equal on sin.

I do think christianity is anti-domocracy though. If god rules over all, thats a monarchy system but we think domocracy is superior to a monarchy.

Do you think he would have been just as upset if he was given a cut of the sales?

I too would hate to see the racist side of you.

It is well documented that the Good ship Jesus was a real ship and more so than the Good ship lollipop.

There are various Christian churches and denominations all over the world. Although the different Christian denominations may all teach from the bible, their exact teachings may not all be the same. I'm not qualified to say which churches or if any church support capitalism. I do have a little knowledge of bible verses on this very subject. Based on my limited knowledge of bible verses, the bible teaches Christians to be anti-capitalist in various verses throughout the bible. I'm not an expert. This is just my limited understanding of the bible.

That seems to be my understanding as well if you are talking about the new testament and the teachings of Jesus but if I were to comment on the old testament I would have to differ with you because my understanding of the old testament was that it was for the most part a teaching of antisocial personality disorder as we would call it today.

I had to do some research to separate the old testament from new testament. I believe these verses are all from the old testament. These verses appear to be teaching anti-capitalism. Here are some bible verses you can google.

Exodus 22:25
Ezekiel 16:49
Jeremiah 22:16
Proverbs 14:31
Proverbs 11:4
Proverbs 17:5
Proverbs 19:17
Proverbs 22-23
Proverbs 28:8
Proverbs 29:7
Proverbs 31:8-9
Proverbs 21:13
Proverbs 28:27

Did any of you see Mr. nasty last night when he had access to my account?

I wonder how he was able to do that. A smart person with a sick mind.

@Real Music,
I have read many good things in the old testament but I have also read some things that would get a person locked up for their behavior.

Can you clarify? Are you talking about how some of the behavior during old testament time would get you locked up in todays world? If so, I agree.

@Krumple,
Jesus was the first to approve of communism

Acts 4: 32-37; The group of believers was one in mind and heart. None of them said that any of their belongings were their own, but they all shared with one another everything they had. With great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God poured rich blessings on them all.

There was no one in the group who was in need. Those who owned fields or houses would sell them, bring the money received from the sale, and hand it over to the apostles; and the money was distributed to each one according to his need.

And so it was that Joseph, a Levite born in Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “One who Encourages”), sold a field he owned, brought the money, and handed it over to the apostles.

Communism: a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
