I would like to conclude my lecture by introducing a mother’s ten virtues, as taught in the ABC Sutra.
Is 'as' necessary?
Thanks.
@tanguatlay,
It might be. Taking out "as" slightly changes the meaning of the sentence.
@Setanta,
Really? Couldn't a person say: "I would like to conclude my lecture by introducing a mother's ten virtues, (which are) taught in the ABC Sutra."
