Well, I want some signs for our library. The following is two of them. Do they work in English?

(1) Silence Is Gold
(2) Keeping Quiet Is a Value

Thanks in advance

@oristarA,
1) Say "Silence is golden!" (this is an English idiom that is commonly seen).

2) "Keeping Quiet is a Value" does not sound right at all. First of all, keeping quiet is not a value. To say it is doesn't make any sense.

I would try "Respect Others. Be quiet." as an alternative.

@contrex,
I don't think so. Quiet people creep me out.

People are quiet when they are dead. While they are alive, they should be making some noise.
