I am a 20 year old male in college. There's a girl in one of my classes that I am interested in. I am not very strong in the relationships part of life so I need some help understanding what is going on. After talking it out with a friend, we realized she may like me back as well. Some of the signs she has given include but are not limited to: asking me for help despite the class material being very easy (I've been led to believe a girl is more likely to ask another girl for help than a guy), some general body language, and one day when we worked together on the class work she was humming. I understand these are not sure signs and I may just be interpreting them that way. Here's where things got confusing for me. The class before last, she sat in a completely different seat. For the past three weeks, she sat right next to me and that day, despite her usual seat being open, she sat on the opposite side of the room. She also did this in the last class. Where she is now sitting, she sits facing me where we can both look at each other. My big question is what does this all mean? Is it good or bad? My close friend and I have talked in great length about this and we have come up with many reasons why she may be doing this. Some are in my favor and others not so much. I am just curious if anyone out there in the vast world of the internet can either give me more options, or maybe help me decide on what of the answers I have come to is most likely. I don't want to post the conclusions I have come to because I would prefer that the answers that you give to be more genuine and I feel that giving you the options I have come to may obstruct that. Also I cherish the opinions of strangers because I feel my friend may be trying to keep things more in the "I don't want to hurt your feelings" category. I would very much like your help so I can know whether or not to go after her! Sorry for the long question.
@Kedrslayer,
Forget signs. Ask her out.
Period.
Forget the crap about saving a seat or twirling hair or whatever is the omen
du jour.
Just. Ask.
@Kedrslayer,
You're interested in a young woman? Approach her after class and ask her out.
This advice has come from 2 woman, and I (a woman) feel the same way.
So, you're getting from the horses mouth what we really want.
Ask her out.
