yeah, they gotta be warm! if not, you're left with a pile of dough with powdered sugar all over it...cold. icky.

pronounced "ben-yay." like the french.

when ordering them, "coffee" must be pronounced "cauw-fee" like you're from Brooklyn though. that adds a little more cultural flair to the dining exp.

hey cav, we are going to Crescent City Beignets here in River Oaks.

and the kids are up and the race is on.

Today I have to work with the several turnip I picked from my garden yesterday and I think I'll work on some of my craft. I need to work on painting my big ceramic Mrs. Clause, so she'll be ready for Christmas. Then I think I'll work on my cross stitch project.

Dammit, yes it is, Pam!

Gosh Montana, you're certainly a busy little bee! Tell me what do you you mean by working with the turnips? Preserves?

You live in/around Florida? How extensive is the mess that you're having to clean up? Just as well there's a bit of creative activity, too! Yo're going to sleep well tonight!

Hiya Pam :-D Yeah, I've been busy with the garden and all that fun stuff, so it doesn't leave me much time to play on A2K.

Yup, Christmas is right around the damn corner (sigh)!

I like my turnip cooked and mashed, so I peel them, cut, cook, and mash them and then put them into containers, which I throw in the deep freeze. I can a lot of my stuff from the garden and that's the real work, but now most of that is done and the stuff I have left in there is mostly going in the deep freeze.

I see. It's a vegetable I'm not that familiar with, Montana. Nice to grow your own food, though, isn't it?

It sure is Olga. It's a lot of work, but in the end I'm always thrilled at the rewards ;-)
