A have two photos of relatives taken in Venice 1922.
It says on the back "enlarged the photos with help of camera and X-ray apparatus in the hospital".
How can that be done?
The lady was a X-ray nurse.
In those days X-ray pictures were taken on photographic film or glass plates and every hospital had a well equipped photo lab. Most probably still do. Processing and enlarging photos would have part of what these labs did.
@contrex,
Thank you - fun to know.
Just started to read a small dairy I have ignored for years about trips in the twenties.
