Except for this one.

Tell us bob, why did you chose to tag this topic Humor.

Really curious

My understanding is that the devs made it so members can't tag any topics but their own. OPs can still tag their own topics, even new ones.

@Sturgis,
That's a rigid life you live there, Sturgis.

Spelling corrections, value judgments about intent with tag words.

I do pretty much what I want.

Relax.

I would think so. Would prevent a fair amount of annoyance and hurt, I imagine.

And a fair amount of deserved comment and opinion also.

@contrex,
Plenty of space in comments for "deserved comment and opinion".

Tagging topics with insults and petty commentary messes with what's currently the forum's primary navigation structure.

Plus, it is (or was) a sneaky way to get in your insults anonymously, and to get around moderation. If you engage in personal attacks in a comment, at least you're owning it, and it can be removed by admins and mods if they deem it beyond the pale.

Yes! Let us be glad that such low and unmanly things are no longer possible!

This must be terrible, not just for the woman shot to death and her family and friends, but also for the cop involved. Talk about a senseless death... I wonder if you could ever bring yourself to draw a gun again (which probably means this person would be unfit for the police too, apart for administrative work)
