May I humbly ask for help?
The book I'm searching for is a novel about a wealthy, European treasure hunter, whom I believed specialized in Egyptian stuff. Anyway, he and a woman (possibly archaelogist) go searching at the headwaters of the Nile and Blue Nile for some ancient stash.
Also on their trail are the bad guys who have the local military on their side. Anyway, they end up damming and temporarily diverting the river, enter a underwater tunnel now exposed, find the treasure and get away. The woman, who has fallen in love with the man, betrays him and turns the treasure in to a museum?
Any help would be appreciated. I want to find the book badly.
