I subscribe to only two magazines: Newsweek and Esquire. Both magazines have regular features that I always look forward to reading.
In Newsweek I love: Perspectives (the little out-takes and editorial cartoos), My Turn (a personal essay), The Last Word (an essay by either George Will or Anna Quindlin) and Conventional Wisdom (the little arrow thingy).
In Esquire I love: The Indefensible Position (wherein someone defends something like drinking and driving), 10 Things You Don't Know About Women (leave it open to this page for you husband/boyfriend), This Way Out (humor page), Five Records Worth Your Lunch Money (mini music reviews) and Sex (advice column written by a woman).
Okay, okay, I also get Professional Photographer but that one pretty much bores even me to tears.
Sometimes I buy Mental Floss magazine.
I confess to peeking at Glamour's Dos and Don'ts in the checkout line.
Which magazines do you buy and what are your favorite regular features in them?
Thanks!
