My name is Brayden VanEss. I am a Christian but I would like to know what non-christian views are on the statement: A good God allows suffering. Or "How could a good God allow suffering?" I believe there is purpose behind it but would like to know your thoughts.
What a novel idea for a thread topic. I'll have to give this some thought.
@braydenvaness,
"Coincidentally", there's another whole thread on this. And thanks to the generosity of the non-religious population of A2k, it is conveniently filled with non-christian viewpoints.
Have at:

@braydenvaness,
Are you presupposing that any god must be good?Or, are you only subscribing to some religious version of a god that has to be good, to qualify for godship?
@rosborne979,
I was unaware of the other thread, but I will have to check it out. I would still like to hear viewpoints on this thread, thanks.
@Foofie,
I do not quite understand your question, could you possibly elaborate on this?
Thank you.

That's probably not going to happen because you've been beaten to the punch. But good luck.

I don't do private tutoring.
@Foofie,
I am not asking for "tutoring" i am simply asking you to elaborate on your question so that i can give you my answer.
