Newcasts are as a rule not very interesting for young people. To understand what news are about you have to know what is going on in the country.
Much better is to read, comicstrips, easy books or over the internet things that you are interested in.
Listen to programs for children and young people whatever radio or TV.
There are also programs on internet.
