I am an older white female and I'm getting a Rottweiler soon. I saw the movie Django and I thought it would be a great name for my dog. I look at it as you would Clark Kent or Mr. Wayne. As I love Quinten Tarantino movies I especially loved Django. Jamie Foxx played a hero. I was told that it might be racially offensive for a white woman to own a Rottweiler named Djano. I would really love to hear response to this as I think some people may be sensitive and I don't hurt anybody's feelings.
@RavenNevermore,
Well, then there is Django Reinhardt - a pretty major musician

@RavenNevermore,
Its a dooog, not an accessory.
@RavenNevermore,
As a middle aged white male, I would not be offended.
Nobody mention Guy Gibson's dog, please!
@RavenNevermore,
Given your interest in the arts, you could call the rotty Waltz.
@Tes yeux noirs,
My friend (in about 1965) had a dog with the same name. Many dogs had that name.
How times change.
@ossobuco,

What's wrong with Frank? Good name for a dog!
@RavenNevermore,
You are welcome. Looking him made me remember him - how could I have forgotten !
