I heard this violin piece on the radio the other day and it was really beautiful but I couldn't catch the title of it. The Dj said the composer wrote the piece after a dream. He dream that the devil took his violin from under his bed and began playing that piece. So he quickly wakes up and write the notes down.
Anyone knows what I'm talking about?
Thanks.
Paganini was a composer and arguably the best violinist ever. Maybe it was one of his "excercises"..
I know, you might have found the answer already; anyways,..
It might be Giuseppe Tartini, "The Devil's Trill". See
The Holland Sentinel. If impossible, go 'dream devil took violin' in Google.
(Whoohoo. Did I actually help someone?
