POOR QUESTION PROBLEM BETTER QUESTION
EXAMPLE:
Poor Question - Do you favor urban homesteading?
Problem - People may not understand the question.
Better Question - Do you favor a government program that encourages families to improve inner city housing?
Poor Question - Did your mother ever work?
Poor Question - Should it be possible for a woman to obtain a legal abortion?
Poor Question - Do you favor making it legal for 18-year-olds to drink liquor and smoke marijuana?
Poor Question - Don’t you think that the press is slanted and that we should distrust whatever it says?

Those are generally samples of what are called loaded questions.

Ah, but you didn't state your own question. Do you expect an answer to something you meant to ask?

Yes, sorry. I was looking for others to identify the problem and propose a better question for each poor question.
Was/is your mother employed outside of the home?
Do you feel it should be a womans right to obtain a safe, legal abortion?
What do you feel should be the legal age for drinking alcohol and/or smoking marijuana?

If there is a legal option for abortion, it should very obviously be possible get.
