What do you call the "texture" of cloth used for Kylo Ren's armour? The stuff with "holes" in it?

I know the stuff on the arms is called "pleated", but what about the chest and hood?

@helloan,
It looks almost thermal. Also kind of similar to the newer Star Trek uniforms. Wikipedia refers to those as having a quilted pattern.

Looks like a futuristic version of chain mail armor.

Could also be what is known as thermal or waffle knit fabric.
