Domestic cats sitting in boxes is pretty well known, if you draw a square on the floor, the cat will sit in it.

But, apparently this applies to all cats!

I love putting a box out and seeing my cat in it minutes later.

We have a bit of space in our hallway but the cats always sit on the welcome mat because it's a contained area.

Or you place a nice pair of black slacks on the bed, and before you put them on the cat is sitting on them and you have to find the lint remover.
