Does "tending in probability to a limiting form" mean "in probability, inclining to a limiting form
Context:
ergodic /ə:'ɡɔdik/
adj.
positive recurrent aperiodic state of stochastic systems; tending in probability to a limiting form that is independent of the initial conditions
(No more context available)
@oristarA,
Yes I'd say so Ori. Randomness of factors in the "stochastic system" would make its later forms so unpredictable as to be devoid of character that might arise from initial conditions
....whatever that means
