Nice to meet you, Stradee.

For me, it's about doing something with my lifelong friend. She's always after me to go to Toastmasters, yoga, come to this, come to that, etc., etc. She has more time on her hands than I. It might be fun and I can kill two birds with one stone, perhaps, right?

My mom just joined a group in Baton Rouge - sounds like they're having a ball. Her group ranges in age from 68 to 93!

Hmmmmm - well, I am nearly old enough - silly, but endearing - sounds like me on a GOOD day, anyway - wonder if they have 'em in Adelaide?

I have been wanting some red shoes....

I did feel a tad silly, sitting here in front of the computer wearing a red sunhat and a sarong - when it was almost too hot for the sarong!

Now the monitor is wearing the red hat - and at quite a rakish angle, too! Cool

And heaven only knows I'm silly enough already - you shouldn't encourage me!! Razz

mckenzie - there are 2 poor boy caps in red here, one in polar fleece. there is a shearling tub with red and black tartan in the 'between' wedges. there is a red and white striped cat in the hat hat. hmmm a VIVID shiny red rain hat, sort of a take-off on a errrr what are they? nor-westers? so-westers? something westish. hmmmm what else? i know there are more. more summery hats in red/with red around here. The joy of living in Canada - you can always find some kind of red canada day hat!

I came across a "Cat in the Hat" hat when I was rummaging around, but thought it would be too much ... or maybe the do-rag ...
