How can we miss you if you won't go away?
You say that you're leavin', then you turn around and stay.
Why do you give us all goodbyes,
And promise you will cut your ties,
Just to turn it all to lies?
We've been savin' up our tears,
Waitin' for the day to shed 'em all these years.
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder
So, darlin', won't you please get over yonder?

Just jokin', of course. Cute little ditty, though.

Gee, 2003 is easily confusable with 2004, and it's almost 2005.. I didn't catch on either, for about a page.

Glad bib is back and sticking around for the nonce..

Well, having just received this wonderful, exquisitely gilt and engraved, tastefully understated nonce, I guess I'll stick around a while yet.

Ain't never had this nice a nonce 'afore .... gee, thanks folks. Laughing

Who is Alice? Alice in Wonderland? Alice in Oz? Nonces? This is all so confusing. Goodbye means hello?

I came, I left, I observed, I returned, I left again, I observed some more, I came back, I'm still here...that's pretty clear.

That's the deal when you get right down to it ... in the grand overall scheme of things, we're all here - wherever that and whoever we might be - for the nonce. Naught bides forever.
