Not in deep do-do exactly, but I am answering people's responses and they cannot acknowledge both sides of an issue. I like to base thoughts on facts or at least as close as I can - I am on two threads The Truth about Kerry in Nam and Unfit for Command. Both about Kerry's service. Now I agree that several soldiers have negative things to say about Kerry, but point out that this is opinion and also point out the other side that many say positive things.
I am in deep do-do because I have little patience for those that cannot be open minded.
Linkat, I agree. I have tried getting a balanced idea from both candidates, but at this point, there simply doesn't seem to be one. I did not like the hoopla of Kerry's having come in with all flags flying with his compatriots in war at his elbow, but neither do I like the president's war in Iraq perpetually being wielded like a sword, with news reports of cells of terrorism everywhere.
Agreed. Just give me the facts - let me know your plans for the future, what you plan on doing and how you plan on achieving these goals. Stop with all the negative campaigning and hoopla so we can all focus on what is really important.
