I want to get a CD (for a romantic evening) and I have looked through my collection and all I found was Sade. Now while she is sexy, I am looking for something with a bit more oomph in it.
What suggestions can I get from A2Kerland? I like Barry White but am not an expert on his songs. Any others? I want something we can smooch to, dance close, and ahem .... well, whatever.
It's hard to go wrong with Motown, although I'd steer clear of the Supremes (a lot of their songs are from the "my man is leaving me so now I'm nothing" school of thought).
Marvin Gaye, babe! "Let's Get it On" is 4 or so minutes of perfection. :-D
Get the new Prince CD, Musicology. It's dead funkaayyy....
Yep. Embrya is the name of his CD. It came out in 1998 or 1999. Delicious groove. Smoldering.
Mmmm, thanks for the suggestions.
Dante Thomas - "Get it on" ....

I forgot this one. Very good song haha
That sort of evening is for next time ...
Esthero - Breath From Another (especailly her song 'Superheroes')
Brian McKnight - Superhero
Maxwell - Unplugged or Embrya
Tricky - Maxinquaye

Good call, drom!! Her voice is smooooth.
Have you heard Tricky's Maxinquaye? She sings on a few songs and it's a perfect album. She appeared on other Tricky albums, but none as good as Maxinquaye.
Anything by Otis Redding.
