Maybe, but these experts have been wrong on most everything, Putin is the only guy on this planet who has successfully gone to war with these "islamic" assholes who want to blow everything up (Chechnya), and Putin had the good sense to go into partnership with Iran, who almost certainly is the Mid Easts new primary power as the USA departs.
We'll see. Underestimating Putin has become a profession for a lot of folks.
