Supermoon Lunar Eclipse 2015

We didn't get the eclipse over here, but I got out my little telescope and took a few shots of the full moon, anyway:

And not the least bit humbled at having just been eclipsed.

Yup. As bold as ever.

We had a clear view. I enjoyed it. But I think I would call it more of a dim brown moon than a blood red moon. I think there was some poetic license taken in naming this event

The sky here was too clouded over to see the moon at all.
