I've got a bad feeling that we are going to have clear skies, but be way to far to the west to catch it. It'll probably be over before moonrise in Mountain Daylight time zones.
Bennett said the best view from Albuquerque will be to look toward the east mountains around 8 p.m. Sunday. And the good news is, so far the sky should be clear for an incredible view.

@roger,
not according to the sky and telescope article. Perhaps I read it wrong?
We had a little mist and a few clouds for a bit...but it cleared. I definitely saw the total eclipse and the blood red tint.

We had an awesome view had to get kids outta bed to see it. Let them know they would be in their 30 before they got a chance to see it again. It was incredible.
Good show! When I was very young and living at home in Omaha, there was supposed to have been a good display of the northern lights. My father convinced everyone else that I needed my sleep. Bummer! Haven't had such a chance again.

Clear skies over Southampton, set the alarm for 3am and saw the red moon. Had problems getting back to sleep afterwards though.
