Yes, Rod, I mentioned him earlier. There are english versions of his books, as I've read two of them.

Oh I've just read your previous post again. Mankell is an excellent writer. Do you know by any chance the publisher of his translations?

Just a minute, be right back. Though I must add, if you like Mankell, you might like Soho Press books. Not that I like all of them, but they are better bets than much off the shelf.

for a change of pace, if anyone wants to read true crime, written from a law enforcement, rather than novelist, perspective, Whoever Fights Monsters by Robert Ressler, former FBI profiler who interviewed the likes of Bundy, Dahmer, Gacy, and Manson, is worthwhile.
