How is it good for our economy if technology and robots are taking jobs away from people

@muracabruno,
People take away jobs from people through greed by evading taxes. The world produces way more now then it did two or three decades ago enough to end poverty and vulgar misery all round the planet. Robots and AI should free humans beings from menial tasking and bureaucratic symbolic jobs to learn and grow emotionally throughout all their lives. Yes, learning should be a full time job ! Understanding this principle requires yet another leap in average IQ. I am not optimistic right now.

@speedjohn,
Not just warehouse workers jobs in danger. Truck drivers are in the robot's crosshairs 'real soon now' unless government gets in the way. Washington still hasn't figured out what to do about the current and near future macroeconomic trends.

What they should do is just that - Get the **** out of the way. We need less regulation and real tort reform in order for the new economic model to develop.

That's not what Trump & Co. is bringing us BTW.

@DrewDad,
Good example.
Advanced economies have more automation, and buy products from countries with lower labor cost. It's all simple supply and demand.
